CosmeticBusiness 2025: Vema Presents New Solutions for Facial Cleansing & Care

This year marked the 20th anniversary of CosmeticBusiness 2025 – once again providing a strong platform for innovations across the entire cosmetics value chain. As in previous years, Vema participated in the trade fair, using the event to present new products focused on facial care and cleansing.

Held on June 4 and 5, 2025, in Munich, the 20th edition of CosmeticBusiness once again welcomed Vema as an exhibitor. As the international supplier fair for the cosmetics industry, CosmeticBusiness serves as the central platform for holistic product development – from initial idea to market launch. This year’s industry gathering was a great success. Around 430 exhibitors from 29 countries showcased their solutions across three fully booked exhibition halls.

With 41% of exhibitors coming from abroad and a strong presence of top decision-makers, the fair sent a clear signal – especially in a challenging economic environment. Over 90 new suppliers, a dedicated start-up zone, and numerous innovative formats such as the Sustainability Tour, a new workshop program, and the first-ever SPOTLIGHT Community Award provided fresh inspiration.

FOCUS ON FACIAL CARE: OUR TRADE FAIR HIGHLIGHTS

Once again, the fair provided an excellent opportunity for Vema to engage with partners and prospects, nurture existing relationships, and unlock new business opportunities. The personal atmosphere and high level of professional exchange made CosmeticBusiness 2025 particularly valuable for us. One trend that aligned perfectly with our focus was the growing interest in innovative concepts for facial care and cleansing. Our new product concepts were very well received by both customers and potential partners, expanding our portfolio with effective, innovative formulations tailored to current consumer needs:

  • Exfoliating cleansing foam for a refreshed, rejuvenated complexion
  • Facial foam with SPF 15 for daily protection
  • Sleep mask with melatonin to support falling asleep and overnight skin regeneration

“Our customers were thrilled – many tested the products on-site, while others took samples home. We expect to receive many concrete inquiries and orders as a result,” reported Heike Zarschler, Head of Sales, who held numerous customer discussions at the booth.

One of the key unique selling points that sparked particular interest among visitors: Vema is one of the few aerosol fillers at the fair and a rare full-service provider – from concept to finished product.

“We clearly stand out from many other suppliers, as we don’t just provide raw materials or packaging – we develop and fill the entire product. That’s especially rare in the aerosol segment,” explained Dr. Christian Melchert, Head of R&D, Quality Assurance, and IT.

For Selina Müller, Internal Sales, the true value of the trade fair lies in direct contact: “Here, we finally meet potential new customers in person – which is extremely important in our industry. And at the same time, we get to show just how innovative and versatile our solutions are.”

CosmeticBusiness 2025 was a complete success for us – offering strong relevance, great interest in our innovations, and an excellent platform for networking and new business contacts.
