Investment in the Future: Vema Establishes State-of-the-Art Packaging Technology

A significant step toward the future: With the new Monopacker from ETT Verpackungstechnik GmbH, Vema is investing in the comprehensive automation of its production processes – sending a clear signal for growth, efficiency, and competitiveness. The system represents the largest single investment in Vema’s history and is a key component of our long-term strategy to modernize manufacturing.

ETT – A PARTNER AT EYE LEVEL

The renowned machine manufacturer ETT Verpackungstechnik GmbH from Middle Franconia is one of the leading suppliers in the aerosol industry. After extensive research and an impressive on-site visit, we consciously chose a German company that stands out through quality, experience, and innovative strength.

FULLY AUTOMATED PACKAGING – EFFICIENT AND ERGONOMIC

The new Monopacker will take over the fully automated packaging of our products on Line 3.
From carton forming to picking and loading cans, to sealing and palletizing: every step will be automated in the future.

This not only increases process reliability and speed but also significantly improves ergonomics – physically demanding tasks are eliminated, and workflows become simplified and standardized.

MORE PERFORMANCE, MORE FLEXIBILITY

The new machine will enable a significantly higher output and represents a noticeable improvement over the previous level. This ensures that the packaging is optimally aligned with the filling speeds of the future.

By increasing efficiency, we are opening up new markets and securing Vema’s long-term competitiveness.

TAILOR-MADE TECHNOLOGY FOR OUR PRODUCTS

One year of intensive work lies behind us. The machine was customized to our requirements, needs, and local conditions. Various product and carton sizes were programmed directly at ETT – allowing Vema to package all products automatically in the future.

The production line was also optimized: the conveyor belts, delivered by our long-standing partner Griwa, were arranged in a space-saving U-shape – another contribution to a more efficient production flow.

CEREMONIAL INAUGURATION BY MANAGEMENT

The new machine was officially inaugurated by the management team. In his speech, Kristian Kläger emphasized the importance of this milestone for Vema’s strategic development and the sustainable strengthening of the site. He also highlighted that this investment is the result of the tireless commitment of all employees – through continuous improvements, high-quality daily work, and collective dedication.
The new machine is therefore not just a technological upgrade but also a symbol of the team spirit that defines Vema.
